The RISE Vocational Center is tasked with coaching employees to promote skills that transition to community-based employment. The Vocational Center is a certified Sheltered Workshop of the Missouri Department of Secondary and Elementary Education (DESE). DESE certified employment status is required employment. The goal of Vocational Employment provides a work environment that promotes skill development and employability skills to transition to community based, competitive employment. Vocational Employment opportunities include:

• Production
• Café and Catering
• Retail
• Janitorial
• Woodshop
• Administration
• Groundskeeping

Vocational employees will engage in each employment opportunity at the Vocational Center.
